John Paulk was involved with homosexual conversion and insisted he’d become completely straight. Paulk even had a hypocritical cover story in Newsweek magazine saying how he and his wife are both ex-gay and put ads into Newspapers telling how he supposed people could pray the gay away.

Then Paulk was cruising a gay bar when a gay activist, Daryl Herschaft recognised him. According to Daryl Herschaft Paulk admitted he was gay and said his name was John Clint. Later Wayne Besen later arrived, identified Paulk and got interesting photos. Paulk couldn’t keep his job in the ex-gay movement after that, surprise surprise.

At Liberapedia we don't care what type of bars you like, so long as you drink responsibly, act responsibly and don't harm your partners. If you go to gay bars you shouldn't pretend you're straight though.

Paulk isn't the first Exodus member whose actions raised questions about the validity of the group's message. Exodus was just three years old when, in 1979, two of its founders -- Gary Cooper and Michael Bussee -- left their wives for each other. The men remained together until Cooper died of AIDS several years ago. [1]

Interesting enough though, he gets it up/got it up for his wife, which is called Bisexuality. Liberapedia hopes the three kids are happy.

John Paulk no longer believes that homosexual conversion works and agrees with the medical profession the movement causes harm.

"Today, I do not consider myself 'ex-gay,'" said Paulk. "And I no longer support or promote the movement. Please allow me to be clear: I do not believe that reparative therapy changes sexual orientation; in fact, it does great harm to many people."[2]
