[1]

Progressivism is a Left Wing Philosophy based on the Idea of Progress which affirms that advances in Science, technology, economic development, and social organization can improve society to a level where more people can live good, happy lives. Conservatives dislike this concept because they believe in tradition and personal responsibility (hence the term "Regressivism"), however the fact that people have used these aforementioned tools to build the modern world is direct evidence that progress works once everyone start to band together using their reason and skills. For there not divinely ordained but rather self-assembled into a social species as a result of evolutionary processes.

Progressive educationEdit

Progressives believe that individuality, progress, and change are fundamental to one's education. Believing that people learn best from what they consider most relevant to their lives, progressivists center their curricula on the needs, experiences, interests, and abilities of students. Progressivist teachers try making school interesting and useful by planning lessons that provoke curiosity. In a progressivist school, students are actively learning. [2]
