Puerto Rico is a semi-autonomous territory of the United States located in the northeastern Caribbean, East of the Dominican Republic and West of The Virgin Islands. Puerto Rico's head of state is the President of the United States. Its name means "Rich Port" in Spanish. Also, its current Governor is Ricardo Roselló.[1]

Referendum Edit

In 2012, Puerto Ricans voted in a non-binding referendum, where questions of changing the relationship with the U.S. and the preferred relationship were asked. 54% of voters said they want it changed, while 60% chose statehood as the answer to the second question. Obama already claimed he will support Puerto Rico's statehood. [2]

Weird police Edit

In Puerto Rico, the Police set up road blocks, stopped motorists, preached a Christian message and handed out literature.[3] Now, when you're in a hurry to get somewhere, having police make you listen to their beliefs is just the way to put people off Christianity.

Don't worry, folks. If the 2017 referendum yeilds statehood, then this overly keen preaching by A GOVERNMENT ANGENCY will be banned by the First Amendment.
