Racial Profiling is the practice of law enforcement based upon race rather than reasonable suspicion. Racial profiling is a violation of the right to equal protection, but persists because of lack of Judicial Enforcement. Some jurisdictions have always been worse than others. It appears that some jurisdictions have always used selective enforcement as a means of augmenting local budgets with revenues from fines. In some extreme cases there appear to be relationships between judiciary/law enforcement/bail bonding/prison industry.

Examples of Racial Profiling Edit

  • DWI (Driving While Indian)
  • Stop and Frisk (Walking while Black)
  • Hispanic near Border
  • Flying While Arab
  • Poor in Rich Neighborhood (Not necessarily Racial)
  • Out-of-State Vehicle (Again, not necessarily Racial)
