A Rhinoceros or Rhino is a large Mammal found in Africa and Asia. There are five different types of rhino, all have one or two horns in the centre of their forehead. Despite their size, strength and aggression rhinos are Plant eaters. Rhinos used to exist in large numbers but today rhinos are endangered or critically endangered. Poaching and habitat loss both threaten rhinos.

Rhinos live in Forests and savannahs, different species prefer different habitats. The African white rhino eats grass while other rhinos prefer eating foliage. [1] [2]

Rhinos are extremely territorial and there is virtually no natural predators for them. The only predator for rhinos is humans. Like hippos and elephants, they have thick impenetrable hide that requires a special type of gun to penetrate.
