Tammy Baldwin is the awesome liberal senator from Wisconsin. She is the first openly gay U.S. senator, first openly gay U.S. representative in the United States, and Wisconsin's way of apologizing for Ron Johnson, Scott Walker and voting for Donald Trump in the 2016 election.
House of RepresentativesEditBaldwin was elected to the House of Representatives in 1998, and she had been one of its most liberal members, not to mention a leading progressive voice in Congress.
Baldwin voted against the useless War in Iraq and joined the Out of Iraq Caucus in 2005.
Dick Cheney impeachmentEdit
Baldwin voted in favor of the Manchin-Toomey backgroung check bill, which has unfortunately been killed by a Republican filibuster. She has also supported reforms to the United State's menal health system. 
Along with the rest of her party, Baldwin voted for the Gang of 8 immigration reform bill.
