Tammy Baldwin was elected to the
U.S. Senate in 2012. Her election was historic; she was both the first openly gay U.S. Senator and the first female senator from Wisconsin.
Gun Control Edit
Baldwin voted in favor of the
Manchin- Toomey backgroung check bill, which has unfortunately been killed by a Republican filibuster. She has also supported reforms to the United State's menal health system.
Keeping consistent with her anti-
war views, Baldwin opposes United States involvement in the Syrian Civil War.
