Nobody has come up with any other suggestions. Can we get a colour that's a bit lighter and more brownish or yellowish or greyish than Jade? Perhaps you could show us a few samples. I've changed my preference to jade and used the random page a few times to see what jade is like. I like it on the main page but I feel the green is a bit dominant on the smaller pages. The brick scheme has two colours. Can we have green with something orangish or brownish to offset it?

I don't like overriding the choice users make. Green is a compromise. Americans may prefer blue which is the color of the American Democratic Party. British users may dislike blue as it is the colour of the British Conservatives. Unless we can get a really good colour scheme I think users personal choice should not be overridden. User preferences are only overridden if the user allows them to be. In Special:Preferences, a user can set a skin in his or her personal preferences, then uncheck the "Let the admins override my skin choice" box. I'll see what I can come up with in terms of colors ... give me a day or two. --KyleH@Wikia (talk) 21:26, 3 November 2008 (UTC)
I know that. A lot of the time I override. I personally like brick. The green is less overpowering for those who prefer other colours. A few days delay is quite acceptable. Proxima Centauri 07:19, 4 November 2008 (UTC)
